Discounts & Shipping Costs

About discounts & Bulk orders

All of my products are hand-made by me from flat pieces of acrylic.  With hand-made items the amount of labour and material costs do not change for me as a manufacturer, I am not sourcing these items from China, I do not have a distributor that will give me a better rate on higher quantities of products, therefore if you are asking for/expecting a discount on bulk orders, I will not be able to accept your order.

I really do appreciate the business and the interest in my products, but I am doing this to turn a profit on my very small store, and if I am offering a large discount on products then it simply does not make sense and is not worth the time I need to invest outside of my full-time job - I would just be better off closing up shop and spending time with my family instead.

If you are wanting to purchase my items to resell in your own shop, the same deal applies.  I'm not taking a hit on my products so you can sell them at a profit, I am much better off spending that money on advertising and acquiring customers myself, thanks for understanding!

About shipping

Yes, I understand my shipping rates are expensive.  Unfortunately, this is the reality of shipping large, fragile items.  A lot of costs go into trying (yes, trying... thanks auspost) to keep your product intact when shipping.  Large boxes, bubble wrap, air cushion machines, etc.  It's not cheap.  Further to that, the price that Auspost charge me is huge.  For instance, to ship 2 ETB cases 1.5 hours down the road to Brisbane costs me $26 JUST for the shipping label.

Shipping further away, such as WA can cost massive amounts - I've shipped bulk orders there before with about 6-8 ETBs and it has cost me over $200.

I am always transparent and honest with dealing with my customers, and speak to them like mates - so I have written this page up as frankly I am sick of being asked for discounts and being put in the position to try and justify the prices of my products. There is a 10% discount for new customers, and occasionally some other discounts I provide, but unfortunately that is the best I can do. (besides, my prices are damn competitive for the product you get...)
